As we gear up for J.J. Abrams’ rendition of Star Trek, I thought it would be nice to share a piece of Star Trek history, digitally. Yes! The original Star Trek communicator sound in mp3 ringtone format. The Star Trek communicator sound is classic, timeless and I wish I knew how they came up with it. The new Star Trek film is in pre-production at the moment and is set to hit the theaters nationwide December 2008. If you’ve watched the Cloverfield movie, them you may have caught a preview of the USS enterprise docked. Very cool.
Ok, back to the Star Trek ringtone…this mp3 ringtone works really well as a cellphone alert, new mail ping, etc. Keep that mind.
