Free Ringtones FYI – Truly Free Cool Ringtones

GEICO’s foray into free ringtones introduced during one of their commercials is subtle and cool. We wonder whether this was an attempt to look less stuffy and more interesting while also hitting us young folk up early on so that when we’re ready to go out and shop for auto insurance we’ll remember to cool GEICO ringtone? Who knows why but we’re all about free ringtones so why should this cool ringtone be treated any different. Right?

The Twilight ringtone is about 21 seconds long, it is in mp3 format ripped to 128kbps. I just side-loaded it to my iPhone and it sounds great. It’s cool how the rest of the band kicks in BIG a few seconds after the guitar intro. I will be setting it as my ringtone for a bit, hope you all enjoy it as well.

John Williams was the quintessential composer, having scored numerous mega movies themes, the Star Wars movie theme now ringtone is by far one of the most memorable of the music scores he penned back in the 1970s.

If you loved the movie, you’ll the Star Wars ringtone on your mobile device or cell phone. You’ll need to sideload the mp3 ringtone onto your mobile phone.

A windows only free iPhone ringtone ripper to download. We haven’t tested it out yet but the software is really free and judging by the user interface it looks pretty easy to create ringtones for your iPhone.

iPhoneRingToneMaker works with the new iPhone 2.0+ software and iTunes 7.7+. Well, it does, I own and actively use iPhoneRingtoneMaker, and haven’t had any issues yet. One thing to keep in mind is that anytime there’s a iPhone or iTunes software update it renders iPhoneRingToneMaker useless. It’s not a free iphone ringtone maker but it’s a great tool and it’s cheap.
